This viewer is a plugin for the Internet Explorer. To install it, download the following file and install it. After that, reload the page. If you have any previous installations of that viewer, please uninstall them first. You can do that easily over the Control Panel.

DirectX 9

This viewer requires DirectX 9, which is available here. In the beginning this viewer was actually a DirectX 9 programming test, so that's why. In the end I have to say, that even the very optimized math library was worth it (3DNow, SSE, SSE2, etc.).

Sample Models

Here are some sample models. Click on any line in the listbox on the left to see another model. But you can easily open your own models. Simply right-click with your mouse into the viewer and choose "Open File ...". After that you can create your own compressed package with the command "Create Package From Model". This package includes all textures automatically and also remembers your current viewer settings. It will show the model like it was at the moment, where you saved it. So just choose some good looking camera angles and rendermodes to show off your models.

Known Bugs

• If you get the message "No device was created! Make sure you have DirectX 9 or better installed!", but you already installed it, then close the Internet Explorer and open the page again.
• On certain machines, some models cannot be loaded. Sometimes it works, sometimes not.
